KMT Hsinchu County magistrate candidate and legislator Hsu Hsin-ying had a packed Saturday schedule. She first attended the 80th anniversary celebration of Meihua Church in Jianshi Township, then returned to Hukou to participate in the 'Qinshan Volunteer Association' annual general meeting. Back in her Hukou stronghold, Hsu fully demonstrated her 'mother hen' leadership, urging residents to fully support KMT-nominated township mayors, county councilors, village chiefs, and township representatives, vowing to lead the KMT to a clean sweep in the five-in-one elections in Hsinchu County.

When asked about KMT Chair Lin Chi-hsien recently appearing alongside DPP's Cheng Chao-hsiang, Hsu responded, 'The KMT stands united. There's no need for over-interpretation, nor will we allow the DPP to exploit divisions. We will continue working hard to win.' Regarding Ministry of Education and Ministry of Transportation officials attending DPP events, Hsu criticized, 'The DPP's governance has been one absurdity after another. The Minister of Education serves all of Taiwan, not just the DPP. Education is a century-long endeavor and the foundation for building next-generation competitiveness in the AI era—it's the most urgent concern for parents in Hsinchu County and Zhubei. The Ministry of Education should not become a political election machine, and the future of Hsinchu's children must not be sacrificed for partisan gain.'

Hsinchu County Councilor Chen Po-cheng, Hukou Township Representative Liu Chang-jung, and Aishi Village Chief Hsieh Chun-lan also attended the 'Qinshan Volunteer Association' meeting. In her speech, Hsu expressed gratitude for the support she received during the legislative election, anti-recall campaign, and primary elections over two years ago. She praised Magistrate Wu Shu-chun and the elected officials present for their public service, and as a legislator, pledged continued support for the Hukou Sports Center, the proposed second Hukou interchange, school walking paths, and traffic improvements—ensuring residents and children have a safe way home.

Hsu noted that the KMT caucus in the Legislative Yuan has publicly endorsed her county magistrate campaign and committed to fully supporting Hsinchu County's construction budget. She introduced her 'Dual AI Vision Blueprint,' aiming to make Hukou more prosperous, advanced, and healthy—such as offering free healthcare co-pays for those aged 65 and above and distributing AI smart health bands to provide seniors with greater care and support.

Earlier that day, Hsu was invited by the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan's Tayal Presbytery to attend the 80th anniversary Thanksgiving Service of Meihua Church. Tayal Presbytery Clerk Pastor Pasang Hopin (Tseng Yi-kuang) and Meihua Church Session Chair Pastor Limo Yi Hahung accompanied her. Hsu said that since its founding in 1946, the church has journeyed through 80 years filled with God's abundant grace and guidance. 'The church has guarded the soul of the Tayal people through faith and connected generations through love,' she stated.

'In tribal communities, families often live across three generations. My goal is to properly support elders, children, and youth alike,' Hsu said. She pledged to systematically improve Jianshi's external roads, slope safety, and school commuting safety. She will bring telemedicine, medical shuttle services, and AI smart health bands into the tribes so elders and community members no longer need to trek over mountains when ill. She also vowed to protect Tayal language and culture, ensuring the younger generation never forgets who they are and where they come from.
