How to Properly Store Water Before Shutoff? Key Guidelines for Pump Operation and Air Release After Restoration?
Taiwan Water Corporation advises users to complete water storage at least 6 hours before the scheduled shutoff to maintain basic daily water needs and ensure pipeline safety.
During the shutoff, please turn off the power to your water pump. If the pump continues to run dry without water, it may overheat and burn internal components, increasing the risk of fire. After water service resumes, open faucets to release trapped air, allowing water flow to stabilize quickly.
Additionally, higher floors, pipeline endpoints, or elevated areas may experience delayed restoration due to slower pressure recovery. If no water is available after the announced restoration time, contact Taiwan Water Corporation directly for professional assistance.
