Traditional all-ceramic restorations usually take one to two weeks, requiring patients to make multiple return visits and often endure the inconvenience of wearing temporary dentures. Yue Ting Dental Clinic has spent nearly a decade building its in-house digital all-ceramic restoration brand, Snow Ceramic, integrating intraoral scanning, digital design, milling production, and fitting processes within the clinic. For simple single-tooth cases, restorations can now be completed in as little as 80 minutes, recently earning recognition at the 8th Brand Golden Boat Award in the Service Innovation category.
Ending Repeated Visits: Integrated Digital Workflow for One-Stop Service
Lin Yen-Yu, Medical Integration Director at Yue Ting Dental Clinic, explained that Snow Ceramic is not merely about machine speed, but about consolidating restoration processes previously scattered across different locations into the clinic, enabling real-time collaboration between clinicians and on-site dental technicians.
When patients need adjustments to tooth appearance, color, or bite, they can communicate directly on-site, reducing information gaps and eliminating back-and-forth waiting. This process was recognized with the National Innovation Award for Clinical Medical Technology from 2019 to 2024, and the digital technology has secured multiple Taiwan invention patents. In 2022, it also received the Taiwan Excellence Award.
Over 50,000 Production Records Accumulated: In-Clinic Oversight Enhances Communication Efficiency
According to internal statistics from Yue Ting, the team has accumulated over 52,000 digital production records. Through real-time communication and process control within the clinic, the quality pass rate has increased from 74% under the outsourced model to 97.48%. The clinic stated that the core of process improvement is reducing patient return visits, allowing issues to be identified, discussed, and resolved on-site.
Clinic Director Tsao Hao-Wei recently visited the Presidential Office with other award-winning enterprises and was received by Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim. Among the gift packages presented by the Commercial Association to award-winning companies was 'Smile from Taiwan,' a work crafted by Yue Ting through precision milling of all-ceramic blocks. The piece features engravings of Taiwan’s island and mountain ranges, showcasing the research achievements of digital dental technology.
Brand Golden Boat Award Recognizes Team Efforts: Aiming to Globalize Digital Dentistry Experience
Vice President Hsiao stated that the government will continue collaborating with the business sector to help elevate the international visibility of Taiwan’s diverse industries and SMEs. Tsao Hao-Wei noted that Yue Ting has been actively promoting Taiwan-Japan digital dentistry exchanges in recent years and plans to increase global recognition of Taiwan’s digital dental technology through education, clinical collaboration, and experience sharing.
According to the clinic’s statistics for the first half of 2026, it serves over 3,700 patients on average each month. Operations Executive Director Yeh Jou-Chun emphasized that the award belongs not only to frontline staff but also to every team member who has contributed to quality, technology, and service.
Note: The time, process, and suitability of all-ceramic restoration vary depending on individual case conditions. Professional evaluation by a dentist is required.
