Targeting the summer job-hunting rush, the Taoyuan-Hsinchu-Miaoli Branch of the Ministry of Labor's Workforce Development Agency will host the '2026 Hsinchu Area On-Site Recruitment Event' on September 3. Twenty leading companies from technology manufacturing, food service, and logistics sectors will participate, offering a total of 1,992 job openings.

The event fully adopts paperless applications and an AI interviewer system. Job seekers can schedule interviews in advance without bringing paper resumes, significantly improving recruitment efficiency.

Led by global supply chain tech giants, the event brings together companies from semiconductors, consumer services, logistics, and construction, offering diverse employment options.

Key technology manufacturers include King Yuan Electronics, Unimicron, Powertech Technology, and Silicon Integrated Systems—major players in semiconductor packaging and substrate production. Together, they are offering over 500 positions, including process equipment engineers, product engineers, QA/QC engineers, and frontline day/night shift technicians.

In logistics and consumer services, global courier brand DHL is hiring warehouse and inventory staff. Wei Tai Investment (Hesuan Hotel), Chang Yi Construction, Watami International, and Sanyou Pharmaceutical & Cosmetics are offering roles such as administrative managers, store manager trainees, duty managers, and professional pharmacists. Notably, Sanyou is specifically recruiting a 'Japanese-Speaking International Procurement Specialist' responsible for introducing Japanese beauty brands and developing overseas suppliers.

Zhang Jia-Hui, Director of the Hsinchu Employment Center, stated that companies are fiercely competing for top talent by offering competitive salaries and building supportive workplaces with substantial benefits. For example, Powerchip Technology guarantees a 14-month annual salary and provides dormitories and shuttle buses for frontline technicians.
