As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, sausages sizzling on the grill are often the first to awaken memories of family reunions. Black Bridge Brand, a meat product brand that has accompanied Taiwanese families for nearly 70 years, has launched this year’s campaign under the theme "The Taste We Grew Up With." The brand has partnered with Riyue Old Tea Factory in Nantou and Meishan Foundation to create artisanal co-branded gift sets, upgraded barbecue products, and charitable collaborations—transforming familiar flavors into a medium that connects generations and social care.

This year, Black Bridge Brand introduces the "Moon Bathing in Southern City" Mid-Autumn gift set, featuring Taiwan Tea No. 18 Ruby Black Tea from Riyue Old Tea Factory in Yuchi, Nantou, as a key ingredient. Riyue Old Tea Factory upholds the century-old tea-making craftsmanship of Taiwan Agricultural Corporation, hand-picking one bud and two leaves to produce amber-hued tea liquor with natural mint and cinnamon honey aromas through full fermentation.

The Ruby Black Tea is incorporated into the "Ruby Meat Floss Q Cake," combining Black Bridge’s signature black pork floss, red bean paste, salted duck egg yolk, and mochi for a layered experience of tea fragrance, savoriness, and sweetness within a flaky crust. Another item, the "Creamy Walnut Moon Cake," centers on black pork sausage, paired with creamy custard filling and walnuts to deliver a harmonious blend of sweet and savory flavors.

The gift set also includes thick-cut black pork jerky and barbecue-flavored jerky, allowing the delicacy of mooncakes and the boldness of dried meat to coexist on the festive table. Black Bridge Brand emphasizes that while they and Riyue Old Tea Factory operate in different industries, both share a deep commitment to raw materials, recipes, and production processes—showcasing the accumulated craftsmanship of Taiwanese artisans through this collaboration.

During Mid-Autumn barbecues, sausages are often the most anticipated yet challenging item to cook. Poor timing can result in charred exteriors and undercooked centers, disrupting the rhythm of family gatherings. To address this, Black Bridge Brand has upgraded its HUGDOG Mega Sausage—increasing portion size by 40% while reducing cooking time by 50%, making it easier for even novice cooks to achieve perfect results.

New flavor variants include coriander, green Sichuan pepper, and king oyster mushroom, offering crisp freshness, numbing spice, and a satisfying crunch, respectively. These can be paired with chewy sticky rice sausages. Beyond charcoal grilling, the sausages are also suitable for pan-frying or air-frying, adapting to various home cooking scenarios.

In addition to product innovation and collaboration, Black Bridge Brand has teamed up with Meishan Foundation to launch a limited-edition charitable gift set, "Scented Companionship Ceramic Gift." Each set includes a handcrafted natural mineral-glazed ceramic plate made by intellectually disabled youth from the foundation, a thank-you card, and Black Bridge Brand mini sausages and jerky.

Meishan Foundation currently supports 60 intellectually disabled youth, helping them develop life skills, creativity, and confidence through hands-on workshops. Proceeds from the sale of their artworks serve as incentives, empowering these youth to build independent lives. Black Bridge Brand states that Mid-Autumn reunion is not just about family—it’s also about sharing and companionship. Through "Scented Companionship Ceramic Gift," the brand aims to let consumers enjoy familiar flavors while recognizing the effort behind each handmade piece, transforming holiday blessings into momentum that supports these youth on their journey forward.
