The long-awaited first physical store of 3COINS, a popular Japanese lifestyle brand frequently visited by Taiwanese travelers, has officially announced its opening date in Taiwan! The brand revealed its entry into the Taiwanese market in May, selecting Eslite Life Wuchang in Taipei’s Ximending as its location. Originally scheduled to open in August, the launch was delayed. Today (3rd), 3COINS Taiwan’s official Threads account unveiled the latest schedule, confirming soft opening on September 8 and official opening on September 12. Customers wishing to enter early must first obtain an entry ticket.

To manage expected large crowds during the soft opening period, 3COINS will implement a ticketing system to control entry. According to the official announcement, the first batch of tickets each day will be available starting at 11:15 a.m. Customers should go to the main entrance on the 1st floor of Eslite Life Wuchang and scan the on-site QR code. Subsequent ticket distributions will take place at the 4th-floor entrance of the 3COINS store, with exact times to be announced later. Tickets are limited in quantity, and the number distributed per session, as well as the entry method, may be adjusted flexibly based on daily operations and foot traffic.
No dedicated app download is required to obtain a ticket—customers can use their smartphone browser. Upon arrival at the designated location, users scan the QR code and follow the on-screen instructions to enter their phone number and enable location services to receive their ticket. It is important to note that the pickup locations differ: the first session is at the 1st-floor main entrance of Eslite Life Wuchang, while subsequent sessions are at the 4th-floor store entrance. Customers are advised to check the official announcement on the day of visit to avoid going to the wrong floor.

Beyond the opening date, what products will be available at the first Taiwan store is also a major point of interest. Eslite previously revealed that 3COINS will bring in various kitchen and household items that have generated high discussion on Taiwanese and Japanese social media. Among them, the 'Microwave Grill & Steam Cooking Box' is particularly highlighted—it allows users to cook fish or chicken thighs in a microwave with a grilled-sear texture. Another much-discussed item, the microwave egg cooker, is also expected to launch, targeting renters and busy office workers.
3COINS has garnered strong anticipation from Taiwanese consumers not only for its relatively affordable pricing but also for its wide range of products spanning kitchenware, storage, home goods, and fashion accessories. The first Taiwan store will also feature long-selling, high-quality lifestyle items and various daily essentials. Following the announcement, many netizens expressed excitement, saying, 'Finally, we won’t have to bring items back from Japan anymore.' With the soft opening date set for September 8, attention will now shift to the initial product lineup and, crucially, the price differences between Taiwan and Japan, which will be the top concern for consumers.
