Million-subscriber YouTuber Joeman has paused all public filming, brand collaborations, and event appearances following a recent personal controversy. His channel content is now temporarily managed by his manager, Yuni, and the production team. With Apple's fall launch event set for September 10 (Taiwan time), speculation was high over whether Joeman—known for regularly attending and releasing iPhone unboxing videos—would make a comeback. However, his manager has confirmed he will definitely not attend this year, emphasizing that all external work remains fully suspended with no short-term plans for a return.

Apple's product launch is an annual highlight in the tech world. This year's list of Taiwanese creators invited to attend includes Lean from 'Yi Jia Yi,' 3C Tim Ge, fashion influencer Molly, and Japanese-Taiwanese YouTuber Kondo Ki Hiko, attending for the first time. In contrast, Joeman, a long-time 3C content creator who has frequently produced iPhone reviews and unboxings, is notably absent—leaving many of his loyal viewers disappointed. It remains to be seen whether his channel will still release related content this year.

In fact, reporters from Storm Media had already learned that Joeman would not attend Apple's launch. His manager, Yuni, previously explained in a video that all of Joeman's public filming and activities are currently on hold, urging him to first address his personal state, reflect, and confront life lessons. Yuni stressed that while relationship issues are private, as a highly influential content creator, Joeman must still take responsibility toward his long-time supporters. In the channel, she stated bluntly: 'Until he truly reflects and grows, I have no intention of letting him return.' Joeman's daily outings and exercise are not restricted, but filming, brand deals, and public appearances remain suspended.

Following Joeman's absence, online rumors emerged claiming his non-attendance might be linked to the 'U.S. government,' allegedly suggested by Xiao Yi's younger brother. This quickly sparked speculation, with some even suspecting immigration issues. However, according to EBC East Week News, Joeman's manager has clearly denied this, emphasizing 'no connection whatsoever with the U.S. government' and expressing confusion over the origin of such false claims. According to the manager, Joeman's absence is solely due to the ongoing full suspension of all public work.

There is still no clear timeline for Joeman's official return. A new video released on August 28 featured Yuni and the team stepping in for Joeman, indicating the channel is not completely halted but operating under a 'host on leave, team continues operations' model. His absence from such a major annual tech event signals this pause is more than just a short-term damage control measure. The manager's stance is clear: Joeman will not be allowed to resume public filming or commercial activities until she believes he has genuinely completed his reflection and personal adjustment.
