STORY&Co. Inc. (CEO: Taku Hosokawa), which holds the mission 'Turning experiences into a baton,' will host the interactive patch workshop 'MY CHEER STYLE' at Chofu PARCO (Chofu City, Tokyo) on June 13th (Sat) and 14th (Sun), 2026. The event is part of the 'SOCCER CHEER DAY' soccer support project.
This marks the first off-site event for 'PATCH&PLAY,' an embroidery and repair shop based in Harajuku. The event is a participatory workshop themed around 'support,' merging fashion, culture, and creator talent. Seven creators, including those with ties to the Chofu area and others selected through a nationwide public call, are participating. The key visual was created by the popular illustrator Pirako, capturing the excitement of cheering in a pop art style.
At the venue, a total of 29 types of original patches by creators will be available, alongside popular patches from the main shop. Participants can bring their own items—such as T-shirts, bags, and caps—and freely combine patches to customize their own 'cheer style' on the spot. Against the backdrop of the growing 'fandom' (oshi-katsu) and sports culture, 'MY CHEER STYLE' proposes a new experience where one wears their supportive emotions as fashion.
'PATCH&PLAY' emphasizes the philosophy, 'Rather than original state, your own state.' Instead of replacing old items with new ones, they provide an experience to update cherished items with new breath and meaning, visualizing one's personal passions and stories.
