J-Stream Inc. (TSE Growth: 4308, President and CEO: Toshio Ishimatsu, hereinafter J-Stream) has begun offering integration features between its corporate video sharing and distribution platform 'J-Stream Equipmedia' (hereinafter EQ) and 'EQ Presentation Cloud' (hereinafter Presentation Cloud), the company's video AX for explanation tasks. This integration allows for seamless import of PowerPoint videos with narration generated by Presentation Cloud into EQ. Users can then centrally manage these videos alongside existing video assets operated within EQ, enabling flexible utilization by combining various EQ functions.

J-Stream is working to create an environment where companies can utilize their video and document content across various operations, including internal information sharing, employee training, providing information to customers and business partners, and managing owned media. Through the integration of services such as EQ Portal and Presentation Cloud, J-Stream Mitessil and Presentation Cloud, and EQ and Mitessil, the company has previously established an interoperable environment that facilitates the use of video content within existing business workflows.

The current integration between EQ and Presentation Cloud further advances these initiatives. Customers who manage and operate videos within EQ can now import explanation videos generated from PowerPoint materials into EQ, in addition to traditional video production involving filming and recording. They can then manage, distribute, and reuse these videos alongside their existing video assets.

This enables not only videos commissioned from specialized production teams but also video content creation and utilization based on materials used by department representatives in their daily work, making video utilization more accessible across various internal business operations. Furthermore, it allows for the production and operation of product/service explanations, customer guidance content, and lecture videos for webinars and online training with reduced effort and cost, which were previously postponed due to issues with production costs and update burdens.

About the integration between EQ and Presentation Cloud:

Any PowerPoint video generated by Presentation Cloud can be imported into your existing EQ service.

The imported videos can be centrally managed within EQ alongside existing video assets and deployed for operation using EQ's features, such as on-demand distribution, pseudo-live streaming, and viewer log utilization.

For customers who have an EQ contract, the integration feature is available at no additional cost.

* A separate contract is required to use Presentation Cloud.

Use cases for the integration between EQ and Presentation Cloud:

Deployment of explanation videos for intangible goods such as financial products and IT services

For products like insurance, financial instruments, consulting services, and IT services, where explanations are diverse and updates occur frequently, it can be difficult to prepare filmed and recorded videos for all offerings. By generating explanation videos with narration from existing materials and distributing them via EQ, it becomes easier to standardize explanation quality, mass-produce and update content, and facilitate follow-up activities through MA integration of viewer logs.

Streamlining the preparation of lecture videos for webinars and online training

Conducting webinars and online training live each time can be a significant burden for instructors and operational staff. While on-demand and pseudo-live streaming are effective, if re-recording is necessary every time content is revised or updated, the operational burden remains. By generating explanation videos after material updates in Presentation Cloud and distributing them via EQ, it becomes possible to operate with a reduced burden for preparing and updating lecture videos.

Utilization in customer-facing tech-touch support and internal help desks

Challenges such as having to repeat the same explanation multiple times or receiving inquiries even after providing explanatory materials can increase the burden on support operations. By converting existing content prepared as documents or materials, such as FAQs, operation manuals, and procedure guides, into explanation videos and distributing them within EQ alongside existing video manuals, it can help reduce the burden of inquiry response. For users with questions, watching a video explanation is less burdensome and easier to understand than reading text.
