Nishikinohama obtained Blue Flag international certification in 2024, thanks to community efforts that successfully cleaned local water. This free event aims to make the beach accessible and enjoyable for everyone through the installation of specialized beach mats and amphibious wheelchairs. The event is co-organized by the Nishikinohama Attraction Promotion Council and the Kaizuka Brand Promotion Association, with additional local support.
