Ahead of the nationwide tour of the experiential real dinosaur show 'Dinosaur Park,' a pre-opening PR event was held on Tuesday, June 2nd, at Curian in Tokyo. We invited approximately 100 families recruited through our official social media. Despite a short one-week recruitment period, we received over 400 applications, and the venue was filled with great anticipation before the show began. On the day, talent Abareru-kun, who holds a World Heritage Specialist certification, and dinosaur expert 'Kyoryu-kun' appeared. They started with a talk and quiz about Australian nature and World Heritage sites. Abareru-kun, who loves history and holds a social studies teaching license, commented, 'I decided that if I was going to study, I would master it! So I worked hard to get the World Heritage Specialist certification.' He also shared episodes from his visit to a national park near Cairns, Australia, which contains one of the world's oldest tropical rainforests dating back about 150 million years, passionately speaking to the children about the wonders of nature. During the quizzes about Australian nature and dinosaurs, children raised their hands enthusiastically, making it a fun time for parents and children to learn about the era when dinosaurs lived. Later, when baby Tyrannosaurus and Parasaurolophus dinosaurs arrived from Australia, the venue erupted in cheers, and the children watched the baby dinosaurs with sparkling eyes. Kyoryu-kun explained the characteristics and ecology of the baby dinosaurs in an easy-to-understand way. Abareru-kun revealed that he had loved dinosaurs since he was a child, recalling, 'I read pop-up dinosaur books until they fell apart. I would fix them with tape as the mechanisms broke from moving them so much.' He also smiled and called out to the children in the audience, saying, 'I think this will be a show that everyone will enjoy.' During the event, it was announced that Abareru-kun would make a guest appearance at the Shinjuku performance on Monday, July 20th, at 13:00, which was met with loud applause. After the event, the baby dinosaurs saw the guests off in the lobby, and the children enjoyed a special moment observing and touching them up close. The experiential real dinosaur show 'Dinosaur Park' will be held at 21 venues nationwide starting Saturday, July 18th. Featuring everything from cute baby dinosaurs to the popular Tyrannosaurus, it is a family-oriented performance show perfect for summer vacation, where you can see, learn, and enjoy. We hope you will enjoy it with your family.
