During summer vacation, Monthly "Mu" opens a "Psychic Research Institute." An immersive event "MU PSYCHIC LAB" featuring exhibits, psychic experiences, and puzzle-solving will be held for 11 days starting August 18th at SUPERNOVA Kawasaki!!!

Since its launch in 1979, the occult magazine Monthly "Mu," which has pursued humanity's unknown abilities, is finally manifesting its world into reality as an "experiential research institute."

For 11 days from August 18, 2026 (Tue) to August 28, 2026 (Fri), the live house "SUPERNOVA KAWASAKI" in Kawasaki will open as the secret research institute "MU PSYCHIC LAB" for observing and researching psychic powers. Visitors will not just be "spectators" but will participate in experiments such as clairvoyance, telekinesis, and UFO summoning as "test subjects = experiencers" verifying the existence of psychic powers.

An immersive occult entertainment where you can "experience" the world of Mu.

"MU PSYCHIC LAB" is an experiential event themed around psychic powers and paranormal phenomena, created under the supervision of the Monthly "Mu" editorial department (One Publishing). The venue is the live house "SUPERNOVA KAWASAKI" in Kawasaki. This location will transform into a "research institute" for a limited time, and visitors will participate as "collaborators" of the institute to measure and experience the unknown powers sleeping within them.

The director of the institute is Takeharu Mikami, editor-in-chief of Monthly "Mu." Makoto Akiyama will serve as the psychic supervisor, Masanori Kiyota as the psychic and prayer, and Natsuki Umino (Pintcle) as the puzzle-solving supervisor, creating a space supervised by "the real deal."

[Ultimate Experience] UFO Summoning Event - August 21 (Fri), 2nd Session Only

After the "Occult Super Conference" on the evening of August 21 (Fri), a "UFO Summoning Event" will be held on the 4th floor PARK of the institute by Special Ambassador Makoto Akiyama. Together, participants will call forth a UFO towards the night sky. This special experience can only be witnessed on this one night.
