<About TV Anime "MAO">

"MAO" is the latest work by Rumiko Takahashi, who continues to create hit works such as "Urusei Yatsura," "Maison Ikkoku," "Ranma 1/2," "Inuyasha," and "Kyoukai no RINNE." It has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan) since 2019.

Set in the Taisho era, it is a dark fantasy x time-slip mystery of love and hate, where the onmyoji youth Mao meets Nanoka Kiba, a girl who has wandered from the Reiwa era, and they approach a "curse" spanning 900 years.
