DX Management Advisor Certification Exam Preparation Course to Launch New Academic Year on July 1

TAC Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), which develops educational businesses including training for many national certifications and examinations such as certified public accountants and tax accountants, announces that it will launch its new academic year course for the "DX Management Advisor" certification exam, administered by the General Incorporated Association Japan Financial Human Resources Development Association, starting Wednesday, July 1.

What is a DX Management Advisor?

The DX Management Advisor is a qualification aimed at training personnel who can support SMEs in "improving their sustainable earning power and self-transformation capabilities" through DX.

While it is known that DX is effective in improving productivity and sales, it is currently difficult for SMEs, which have constraints on human resources, funds, and information, to promote DX on their own. Therefore, there is a demand for personnel who can appropriately promote and support management transformation through DX.

In DX, the goal is not simply to introduce digital technology or tools, but to clarify the company's philosophy and raison d'être, organize the challenges to bridge the gap with the future vision, and work on transforming business models and organizations while utilizing digital technologies.

The DX Management Advisor is expected to play a role in supporting the digitalization and DX of SMEs by assisting in visualizing future visions, current strengths, and intellectual assets, and by acting as a liaison between companies and digital specialists such as IT vendors.

[Qualification Requirements]

To obtain the DX Management Advisor qualification, passing the certification exam and completing the communication skills improvement course are required. The communication skills improvement course is conducted by our company, a certified educational institution.

About the Preparation Course

The certification exam preparation course offered by TAC consists of a "Knowledge Section" where participants learn about the management analysis and strategic planning necessary for DX promotion, as well as basic IT technologies, and a "Practical Section" where they acquire practical knowledge and specific support know-how to solve concrete problems of SMEs through DX.

[Knowledge Section]

The Knowledge Section is broadly divided into two parts: "Management and Strategy" and "IT Technology," with each part organized into multiple themes. The "Management and Strategy" section aims to acquire knowledge mainly at the management/strategic level, including frameworks necessary for management strategy formulation, various knowledge required for DX strategy development, processes and management methods necessary for system development and cloud utilization, and legal knowledge.

The "IT Technology" section covers basic IT-related knowledge such as IT, computers, and various elemental technologies.

[Practical Section]

The Practical Section aims to acquire practical knowledge and support know-how to solve the specific problems faced by SMEs through DX promotion initiatives.

Participants will learn practically, including pitfalls to avoid when promoting DX, and solutions using digital tools for challenges specific to business processes and industries, with case studies.
