‘Nodame Cantabile’ Story Live Orchestra Sapporo Performance Announced for July 29, 2026 at Sapporo Bunka Geijutsu Gekijō hitaru

Tacticart, HTB Hokkaido Television, and Doshin Bunka Jigyo-sha will present the ‘Nodame Cantabile’ Story Live Orchestra at Sapporo Bunka Geijutsu Gekijō hitaru in Hokkaido on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. This special evening will deliver the beloved classical masterpieces from the widely popular manga, anime, and film series ‘Nodame Cantabile’ through live orchestral performance, visuals, and narration. The immersive experience of R☆S Orchestra’s formation and concert success will finally arrive in Sapporo.

About ‘Nodame Cantabile’ Story Live Orchestra

This performance is a narration × orchestra concert based on the popular manga ‘Nodame Cantabile,’ which blends classical music and human drama. Centered on the story of R☆S Orchestra’s formation and concert success, the concert climaxes with a grand performance of Brahms’ Symphony No. 1 in C minor, Op. 68 (complete movements).

Narration is recorded with original cast members including Ayako Kawanami and Tomokazu Seki, who voiced characters in the TV anime, using an original script exclusive to this event, and presented alongside original manga illustrations.

This time, under the baton of conductor Kenshiro Sakairi, the young ensemble Tacticart Orchestra—known for innovative programs like ‘Ping Pong Concerto’ and ‘SHIN SERIES’ that transcend traditional formats and acclaimed for high performance quality—will recreate authentic performances reminiscent of the original work.

The production is directed by Takuma Suehara, leader of theater group Obonro, who writes, directs, and performs in all of their works. In recent years, he has expanded his activities beyond the group, writing and directing external stage productions and recitation plays such as ‘club Cattelia,’ ‘Romance of the Three Kingdoms Performance ~Sun Wu~,’ and ‘Kurumu Dōwa’ both domestically and internationally. This concert offers an immersive experience into the world of ‘Nodame,’ themed around the fusion of music, story, and visuals.

Kenshiro Sakairi (Conductor)

A concert with Tacticart Orchestra—such a young ensemble that embodies the spirit of R☆S (Rising Star) Orchestra. I am very much looking forward to bringing this highly successful performance, previously held in Osaka, to the people of Hokkaido!

Takuya Shinohara (Oboe)

This performance allows the audience to feel as if they have stepped directly into the world of ‘Nodame Cantabile.’ I hope even those who don’t usually listen to orchestral music will come and enjoy it casually. I will be performing Mozart’s ‘Oboe Concerto, 1st Movement,’ an iconic piece played by Kuroki-kun in the series. You may recall the famous scene where, while playing Mozart, the world gradually turns pink… I’d like to perform it with heartfelt emotion, evoking the atmosphere of the work. Please enjoy it live at the venue.

Haruna Inazumi (Piano)

Personally, I absolutely love and greatly enjoy this ‘Nodame Cantabile’ Story Live Orchestra concert.

I’m very excited to perform it in Hokkaido after Tokyo and Osaka.
