"Garden Necklace Yokohama 2026," a major spring event connecting the city of Yokohama through flowers, kicked off on Thursday, March 19th. Over the course of 88 days until Sunday, June 14th, the city will serve as a stage for a relay of seasonal flowers, blooming in succession from cherry blossoms to tulips and roses.

This weekend, the cherry blossoms in the Minato Mirai area of Yokohama are expected to reach full bloom and be at their best from March 29th (Sun) to March 30th (Mon), offering a unique urban cherry blossom viewing experience with the Yokohama Landmark Tower and the giant Ferris wheel in the background. Starting with the "Sakura Yokohama" that can only be captured now, the iconic floral landscapes of spring will spread throughout the city.

Venue: Sakura-dori Street Dates: March 21 (Sat) – March 29 (Sun) March 28 (Sat) will feature a pedestrian paradise, parades, and a gourmet street.

This annual spring event is held along "Sakura-dori," a street lined with approximately 500 meters of cherry trees. Visitors can enjoy the tunnel of blossoms, the Landmark Tower, and the vibrant urban atmosphere.
