About 『Rainbow★Parasol Collection』
『Rainbow★Parasol Collection』 is a Nintendo Switch package software that combines three games: 『Rainbow Island CS』, which includes six home console versions of the home port of the sequel to "Bubble Bobble," 『Parasol Star", its sequel, and 『Spica Adventure", a comical action game set in space where you use an umbrella, similar to 『Parasol Star". Rainbow Island CS
This is a vertical scrolling action game featuring "Baby & Bobby," who have returned to human form after "Bubble Bobble." Baby & Bobby, who have acquired the magic of the rainbow, travel through the islands of Rainbow Island to defeat the "true enemy, the Dark Magician King" and save the captured people. This work, 『Rainbow Island CS』, includes six home console versions. In all of them, the player character is Baby, and Bobby appears in the stage interval demos of the Family Computer version / Nintendo Entertainment System version.
Parasol Star
This is a fixed-screen action game featuring "Baby & Bobby," who have been granted a magical parasol after "Rainbow Island." As Baby & Bobby were training to learn new magic, an SOS arrived from the surrounding stars, marking the beginning of their next adventure. In addition to the "Standard Mode," which allows the use of various expansion functions, and the "Arcade Mode," which reproduces the original version, it also includes the "Challenge Mode," where you can compete for scores online.
Spica Adventure
This is an action game in which "Nico," a self-centered girl with zero sense of justice and a mental age of 5, adventures on the tin star "Spica." While traveling through space, Nico is caught in a sudden downpour of flyers and crashes into Spica. Nico swings a legendary parasol, scattering the fancy inhabitants of Spica, and delves into the mystery of Spica, which is gradually sinking. In addition to the "Normal Mode," which supports 16:9 screens, it also includes the "Challenge Mode," where you can compete for scores online, and the "Original Mode," based on the arcade version released in 2005.
