Nintendo Switch Software "Yukyū Gensōkyoku 2nd Album Revival" Set to Release March 18, 2027 (Thu)!

TAITO Corporation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter TAITO) is pleased to announce that the release date for "Yukyū Gensōkyoku 2nd Album Revival," a Nintendo SwitchTM software title that is a remake of the second installment in the "Yukyū Gensōkyoku" series, a friendship training simulation game, has been set for March 18, 2027 (Thu).

"Yukyū Gensōkyoku 2nd Album Revival" will faithfully port the character voices by the original's豪華声優陣 (luxurious voice cast), preserving the atmosphere of the time. While the story and character voices remain as they were, this revival version allows players to enjoy it with fully renewed character graphics by moo, who was in charge of the original character design. In addition to the package version, a special edition with luxurious items will also be released. The special edition will include the package version, an art book, a reproduced CD, merchandise, and "Yukyū Gensōkyoku Ensemble 2 Re:R."

Furthermore, "Yukyū Gensōkyoku Ensemble 2 Re:R," included in the special edition, is a ported version of "Yukyū Gensōkyoku ensemble2" with significant renewals in graphics and visuals. The theme song will be a self-cover track by Aki Hata, who also worked on the original version's theme song.
