First Field Introduction of 'Sheet-Based Anti-Rolling Tank' Developed with Toa Corporation

Taiyo Kogyo Corporation introduced the 'sheet-based anti-rolling tank,' jointly developed with Toa Corporation, at a quay construction site in the Toyama district of Fushiki Toyama Port in October 2025. This technology suppresses the swaying of floating caissons during towing. By applying Taiyo Kogyo's membrane structure technology, it achieved significantly higher construction efficiency compared to traditional steel tanks. Field results showed a reduction in rolling and pitching by approximately 20%, contributing to more efficient installation/removal and improved worker safety. Taiyo Kogyo intends to leverage this experience to accelerate the provision of solutions in the marine civil engineering sector.
