Takara Shuzo International is pleased to announce that its "NEW MAKE" Spirits, sold in limited quantities and through select channels*, has won Double Gold at the "San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2026 (SFWSC)", an international spirits competition held in the United States.

Founded in 2000, the "SFWSC" is the largest and most international spirits competition in the United States, held annually in San Francisco. Alongside the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC) and the International Spirits Challenge (ISC), its results are highly anticipated in the global spirits industry.

During the judging, spirits are subjected to rigorous blind tastings by industry experts within their respective categories to determine Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards. Furthermore, spirits that earn a unanimous Gold medal rating from the judges are awarded the "Double Gold" title.

We are encouraged by this award and will continue to strive for the expansion of our global product portfolio in the Western liquor business.

*Currently sold in limited quantities through the online shop of Tomatin Distillery, which manufactures and sells Scotch whisky in the UK, and through the Takara Shuzo Online Shop in Japan.
