TANOTECH Inc. will exhibit at 'Morioka Care Expo 2026,' held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture, showcasing 'TANO,' a care and welfare training system utilizing non-contact, non-wearable sensors.
'Morioka Care Expo 2026' will deliver valuable information on caregiving, health, and future lifestyles through seminars, exhibitions, and experience and consultation corners. At the venue, scheduled activities include lectures by specialist physicians from Iwate Medical University, exhibitions of caregiving products and health-related services, and experience and consultation corners, offering useful information for local residents as well as professionals in caregiving and healthcare.
With aging progressing in Iwate Prefecture, interest in extending healthy life spans and preventive care is increasing.
As initiatives to support safe and secure living in local communities expand, we believe TANO can play a supportive role.
At the venue, visitors can easily experience posture measurement and training with 'TANO'—simply by standing in front of the system, the body naturally begins to move.

'TANO' is a next-generation care and welfare training system that uses non-contact, non-wearable sensors, allowing users to enjoy physical activity simply by standing in front of the screen.
Equipped with over 300 types of diverse content covering physical exercise, oral function, and cognitive training, the system encourages participation by making activities feel like games, stimulating elderly users' motivation to 'want to try.'
Thanks to its intuitive interface that responds to body movements and facial expressions, even elderly individuals and people with disabilities can participate comfortably. The system also includes numerous programs that can be enjoyed while seated or with multiple participants for shared enjoyment.
Additionally, by reducing the burden on caregiving staff and improving the efficiency of recreation and functional training, 'TANO' is currently used in over 500 welfare facilities, hospitals, and educational institutions both domestically and internationally.
In the Morioka area, where interest in preventive care and health promotion is growing, we invite local residents to experience 'TANO' at the venue—a new care technology that enables people to move their bodies naturally and enjoyably.
