Japan's First CVC-Focused Innovation Hub 'JAPAN CVC BASECAMP' to Fully Launch on June 1, 2026

FIRST CVC, operator of one of Japan's largest CVC communities, and Tokyo Tatemono will officially launch 'JAPAN CVC BASECAMP' on June 1, 2026. Located in the 'TOFROM YAESU TOWER' directly connected to Tokyo Station, the facility aims to gather corporate new business managers and CVCs to accelerate open innovation. Following its soft opening on April 1, 2026, a kickoff event titled 'CVC VS 2026' was held on May 27, attracting over 1,200 participants. The hub provides services such as AI-driven business matching, case study sharing sessions, and industry-specific forums to address challenges like knowledge gaps and inefficient startup matching. Furthermore, the initiative includes partnerships with Daiwa Securities, Mitsubishi UFJ Capital, Mizuho Capital, and SMBC Edge to foster the growth of the startup ecosystem.
