TASCAM's Four Media Players/Recorders Now Compatible with Full-Stack AV Platform Q-SYS™

TASCAM has partnered with QSC, LLC to begin offering QSC-certified control plugins for the Q-SYS™ platform, compatible with the media players 'MP-800U' and 'CD-400U', as well as the media player/recorders 'SS-CDR250N' and 'SS-R250N', via the Q-SYS Designer Software.

Q-SYS is a full-stack AV platform provided by QSC. By using the plugins available in Q-SYS Designer Software, compatible TASCAM products can be remotely controlled over the network via the Q-SYS User Control Interface (UCI). This enables remote operations such as transport control and folder/file selection. Seamless integration with the Q-SYS AV platform—widely used in enterprise, education, hospitality, event venues, cinema, government, healthcare, and transportation—enhances system design flexibility and operational efficiency.
