TeamLab will participate in the group exhibition "Second Nature" at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai, India. The exhibition will be held across all four floors of the Art House within the centre, featuring large-scale works by Random International, A.A. Murakami, Simon Heijdens, and Es Devlin. The exhibition period is from July 3, 2026 (Fri) to January 10, 2027 (Sun).
About the Exhibition
"Second Nature" focuses on the evolving and interdependent relationships among humans, technology, and the natural world. The exhibition is a global collaborative effort by international artists at the forefront of art and technology, curated by the co-founders and curators of Superblue, who are pioneering experimental art fields.
The exhibition transforms digital systems into interactive environments that encourage physical participation rather than passive viewing. Through the artists' innovative approaches, familiar technologies that permeate and mediate our lives, sometimes causing concern, are expressed in sensory, memory-evoking, and poetic ways. Here, the tension between active and passive engagement with algorithms and the natural cycles of decay and regeneration is captured. These experiential works, replacing flat screens or canvases, invite visitors to move, react, and touch, becoming part of the art itself. "Second Nature" explores the possibilities as the boundaries between humans, nature, and technology begin to dissolve, inviting visitors into a dynamic ecosystem that shapes our common future.
The exhibition is curated by Maury DeNoto-Blockerhurst, co-founder of Superblue, and Margaux Motta, head of the curatorial department.
