TechMagic Inc.

TechMagic Inc. (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroshi Shiraki, hereinafter referred to as "TechMagic"), which innovates "delicious" experiences through robot technology, is pleased to announce that it has established "Observation and Cooking Experience Facilities" at 7 locations nationwide (partner companies and its own bases) for its stir-frying robot "I-Robo 2." This will enable hands-on cooking experiences and on-site observation with the actual machine.

We have expanded our cooking experience environment to various regions across the country. At partner bases in each region, including Hokkaido Electric Power Co., Inc. (Headquarters: Sapporo, Hokkaido; President and CEO: Shin Saito, hereinafter referred to as "Hokkaido Electric Power"), Fujimak Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Mitsuharu Kumagai, hereinafter referred to as "Fujimak"), and Shikoku Electric Power Co., Inc. (Headquarters: Takamatsu, Kagawa; Director, President and CEO: Yoshihiro Miyamoto, hereinafter referred to as "Shikoku Electric Power"), as well as our own bases, you can now directly observe the actual operation and cooking quality.

Actual machine observation and cooking experiences are now possible from anywhere in Japan. We also offer support for test cooking before installation and consultations on kitchen layout.

Background of Nationwide Observation and Cooking Experience Facility Expansion

Amidst a severe labor shortage in the restaurant industry and food factories, there has been a growing demand from businesses considering the introduction of cooking robots to confirm the actual cooking quality and operability before installation. To meet this demand, we have established observation and cooking experience facilities at 7 locations nationwide.

On-site, you can directly observe the robot automatically reproducing recipes from skilled chefs, its automatic cleaning function after cooking, and the ease of operation via the touch panel.

Stir-frying Robot "I-Robo 2"

The cooking robot I-Robo 2, developed by TechMagic, is a robot that can automate a series of operations such as stirring, heating, and cleaning the pot after cooking. It automatically reproduces recipes from skilled chefs for dishes like fried rice and stir-fried vegetables. In automatic cooking, it can flexibly and appropriately adjust heating temperature, heating time, pot rotation speed, and rotation direction according to the menu. The introduction of I-Robo 2 aims to address labor shortages and promote labor saving, thereby creating an environment where people can focus on higher value-added tasks.

I-Robo 2 is an evolved model that is more compact than previous models, with improved cleanability and touch panel operability. Additionally, optional features such as safety guards and circulation hoods can be added according to customer requests, allowing for flexible customization to meet diverse customer needs.
