Tsukiji Kaihin Installs Water Stations for Shared Delivery Drivers

Sunrise Service Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, President: KatsuToshi Matsumura) will install water stations for shared delivery drivers at five locations of its "Tsukiji Kaihin" (delivery-only sushi) service, starting July 8, 2026.

Installation Period: July 8, 2026 - August 31, 2026 (scheduled)

Tsukiji Kaihin Omiya Sakuragicho Store, Tsukiji Kaihin Higashi-Omiya Store

As a company that also operates on various delivery apps, we frequently request deliveries from shared delivery drivers. We wondered if there was anything we could do for these drivers who support the vibrant dining tables of our local customers even in the intense heat. Therefore, we will conduct a trial implementation in Saitama Prefecture, which experiences particularly harsh heat, at stores where many shared delivery drivers frequent.

During the period, water dispensers and paper cups will be available at the storefronts. Please use them for hydration to prevent heatstroke. Of course, these are also available for general customers, so please ask if you need them.

A poster like the one shown will be displayed at the stores. At the Omiya Sakuragicho store, it is set up indoors, so please ask when you wish to use it.
