Kang is a globally recognized battery technology executive with over 25 years of leadership experience in the U.S., Asia, and Europe, having consistently delivered innovation from the R&D stage to gigawatt-scale mass production. He has held senior executive positions at world-class organizations including Samsung SDI, Apple, and Volkswagen Group of America, and possesses deep expertise in lithium-ion battery materials, cell engineering, and product commercialization across a wide range of applications, including electric vehicles and energy storage systems. At TeraWatt, he will lead the global product development and commercialization of the battery technology platform, responsible for accelerating the market entry of competitive products and driving the technology and commercialization roadmap, including manufacturing scale-up.
