I really don't want to make a post like this, but something very troubling happened today. Around 2:00 PM today, two people appeared wandering around the premises. I thought they were cafe customers, so I didn't pay much attention. However, Washin-mura's cafe is by reservation only, so we basically know the number of customers. I felt the numbers didn't match up, so I checked with the cafe staff, and they said they were not cafe customers. Immediately after, another staff member reported seeing the two people feeding the cats Churu. In other words, two people who were neither cafe nor lodging guests entered the premises without a reservation and fed the cats at Washin-mura store-bought treats without permission. By the time we clarified all this information, they had already left. It was a 10-minute incident. Washin-mura clearly states on our website and official social media accounts that feeding store-bought treats to cats is prohibited for their health management. It is believed that these two individuals intentionally violated the rules while knowing about the prohibition.
