Toji Gurashi Co., Ltd. (Beppu, Oita; CEO: Shizuka Kanno), operator of the Toji retreat 'Nana-hi Meguri,' provided a 3-day, 2-night retreat program for the 'Postpartum Care Professional Training Camp,' hosted by the non-profit organization Mama's Care (Nishinomiya, Hyogo; Representative: Rie Minamida), from March 13 to 15, 2026. The program combined traditional Toji culture with sleep wellness experiences.

To objectively assess changes in participants' physical conditions, counselors qualified as nurses and hot spring instructors conducted vital sign measurements and surveys, including the OSA-MA (Osaka City University Sleep Scale). Results showed that 15 out of 16 items on the OSA-MA survey improved by the final morning compared to the first. Changes were also noted in blood pressure and autonomic balance indicators. These are average reference values for participants and do not indicate specific medical effects or benefits.

During their stay, participants experienced wellness devices like 'ston s' and 'fufuly,' participated in gut-health cooking workshops using fermented seasonings, and enjoyed visits to local hot springs such as 'Kodei Onsen.'

A follow-up session for the training program is scheduled for July 11–13, 2026, targeting professionals including midwives, nurses, public health nurses, and childcare workers.
