This service enables external operators to verify alcohol test results.

The service supports compliance with legal requirements and reduces the administrative burden on safety managers by supplementing verification systems during times when safety managers find it difficult to confirm—such as early mornings, nights, and holidays.

Background

Amendments to the Road Traffic Act Enforcement Regulations require businesses operating a certain number of white-plate vehicles to conduct alcohol checks before and after driving and to keep records of these checks.

However, companies with early departures, late returns, or weekend usage require safety managers to perform verifications outside regular working hours, increasing their daily workload. Additionally, when verification duties are concentrated among specific staff, there is a risk of operational delays during absences or personnel changes.

While alcohol checks are generally conducted by safety managers, the regulations permit designated assistants or contracted service providers to perform verifications under the management and guidance of safety managers.
