Toko Co., Ltd. (Taito-ku, Tokyo), an importer and wholesaler of alcoholic beverages, has launched three new entry-level series from Scotland's Loch Lomond Distillery, allowing consumers to enjoy the distinct personalities of various whiskies. Despite just being released this spring, the 'Triple Oak' from this series won the top gold award at the 'TWSC2026', one of Asia's largest spirits competitions, despite being in the entry range. By offering a price point in the 3,000 yen range where one can enjoy the depth of single malt daily, it proposes a new standard for the whisky market.

About Loch Lomond Distillery
Located on the banks of Scotland's largest lake, Loch Lomond, it is classified as a Highland distillery. Distillation at the current location has taken place since 1966, but the distillery's history dates back to 1814. A major feature is that two types of pot stills, two types of continuous stills, and a cooperage are all located on the same site. It produces all kinds of whiskies such as single malt, single grain, and blended whiskies, and creates complex and balanced whiskies through the diversification of various spirits. In 2024, it won the IWSC 'Distillery of the Year' honor and has received a record-breaking 58 awards at various global competitions. It is currently one of Scotland's most dynamic distilleries.
