Call for Applications: AI & Data Intellectual Property Acquisition Support Program

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center are accepting applications for the 'AI & Data Intellectual Property Acquisition Support' program, which assists SMEs in acquiring patents related to AI and data utilization technologies. Starting this year, in addition to hands-on support from experts, a new subsidy program will cover part of the costs from patent application to registration. The subsidy rate is up to 1/2 of eligible expenses (2/3 for small enterprises), with a limit of 450,000 yen (600,000 yen for small enterprises). Applications must be submitted via the 'J-Grants' electronic system.
