Road to Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon Campaign Starts June 20, Collaboration Between RPT and ONE TOKYO

Tokyo Legacy Parks Co., Ltd. (TLP), with Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd. as its representative constituent, will launch the "Road to Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon Campaign" on Saturday, June 20, to commemorate the first anniversary of "Runner’s Park Tokyo" (RPT), the official running community at Meiji Park. This project is in collaboration with "ONE TOKYO," operated by the Tokyo Marathon Foundation, a community partner of RPT. The first phase includes a monthly running event where participants have the chance to win entries for the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2026, held at the adjacent MUFG Stadium (National Stadium).

Growing with the running scene, the official Meiji Park running community RPT Launched in July 2025, RPT has expanded its reach in step with the rising interest in wellness, attracting numerous runners—including beginners—to the public space of the park, effectively broadening the local running culture in Tokyo.

Key Achievements (July 2025 – May 2026): - Event participants: Approximately 3,000 - Events held: Approximately 60 - Community members: 1,808 (120 paid members)

Program Details for the RPT 1st Anniversary ONE TOKYO Collaboration:

01 Runner’s Park Tokyo 1st Anniversary Monthly Running Event 20 participants will be selected by lottery to win entries for the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2026. Dates: June 20 (Sat) Bread Run, July 1 (Wed) Run & Beer, July 12 (Sun) Long Run Session, July 12 (Sun) Run & Sauna.

02 Training Lessons for Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2026 Regular practice sessions will be held from August to October for race entrants. Dates: Aug 22 (Sat), Sept 26 (Sat), Oct 3 (Sat).

03 After Party An after-party will be held at Meiji Park on October 18 (Sun) for networking among runners after the race.
