Tokyo Midtown Yaesu (located in Chuo Ward, Tokyo) will once again host 'Yaesu Yokoichi,' an urban-style summer festival celebrating Tokyo's late summer, from Friday, August 28 to Sunday, September 6, spanning 10 days including weekdays and weekends.
'Yaesu Yokoichi' is an urban summer festival that reimagines traditional festival elements—such as food stalls, festival games, and lanterns—in a modern setting at Tokyo's gateway, Yaesu. Visitors can immerse themselves in music, savor seasonal food, and experience local culture. This year marks the fourth edition, with expanded content across all areas.
'Yaesu Otoen' (Yaesu Music Feast), featuring live music and DJ performances, will increase its stage offerings on weekends. The first lineup includes Shinichi Osawa, Yasuaki Kojima, ZEN-LA-ROCK, Moka Sato, and Amayawana. 'Noryo Sakaba' (Cooling-Off Tavern), where visitors can enjoy street food under the open night sky, will expand its weekday operating area and offer more seating than last year. 'Yaesu Yashoten' (Yaesu Night Market), known for its unique goods, will evolve into an experiential festival zone with additional interactive games, making it enjoyable for both adults and children.
Whether stopping by for a drink after work or enjoying a cool evening in yukata, the event offers a distinctive end-of-summer experience unique to Yaesu.
