Tokyo Shoseki announced a reprint of the picture book 'The Grand Hotel of Feelings' (written by Lidia Branković, translated by tupera tupera). It will be available in stores starting early June.

Description

Welcome to The Grand Hotel of Feelings!

This is a hotel where all kinds of 'feelings' come to stay.

The feelings are all very unique.

For example, 'Anger' is loud enough to crack walls, so it needs a spacious room to let loose.

Conversely, 'Sadness' has a soft voice, so if you don't listen carefully, it might flood the bathroom with tears.

There are big feelings and small feelings.

There are fun feelings and some troublesome ones too.

But of course, we never throw any of them out.

Here at The Grand Hotel of Feelings, we have rooms ready for all our feeling guests.

The manager of this hotel, where 'Sadness,' 'Anger,' 'Peace,' 'Gratitude,' and many others visit as guests, introduces hospitality tailored to each.

With a heartwarming story and illustrations that invite repeated reading, it is perfect as a first picture book for children to explore their own emotions.

The translation and hand-drawn cover lettering are by the popular creative unit tupera tupera, known for works such as 'Kao Note' (Kokuyo), 'Kudamono-san' (Gakken), 'Shirokuma no Pants' (Bronze Publishing), and 'Panda Sento' (Ehonkan).
