Tokyo Metro Launches 'Chibi Godzilla's Counterattack' 3D Sound Adventure with TV Anime Collaboration

Tokyo Metro Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Taito-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Akihiro Kosaka; hereinafter "Tokyo Metro") will host the "TV Anime 'Chibi Godzilla's Counterattack' Tokyo Metro 3D Sound Adventure" in collaboration with the TV anime series 'Chibi Godzilla's Counterattack' from Friday, July 17, 2026, to Monday, August 31, 2026.

This event allows participants to scan QR codes on designated posters at five Tokyo Metro stations—Ginza Station, Tameike-Sanno Station / Kokkai-gijidomae Station, Meiji-jingumae (Harajuku) Station, Ikebukuro Station, and Shinjuku-sanchome Station—using their smartphones to enjoy 3D immersive audio experiences featuring conversations between the chibi kaiju characters from 'Chibi Godzilla's Counterattack'. Visitors who complete all five stations and visit the 'Godzilla Store Tokyo' will receive an original non-sale sticker from the TV anime 'Chibi Godzilla's Counterattack'!

The audio content features an entirely original story written exclusively for this project by Shin'hai Gakuto, the director of the anime series. Enjoy special voice recordings and lively interactions performed by the star-studded voice cast, including Jun Fukuyama as Chibi Godzilla, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Chibi Mechagodzilla, Takuya Eguchi as Chibi Ghidrah, Rie Takahashi as Chibi Mothra, Hiro Shimono as Chibi Rodan, and Reina Ueda and Akari Kitō as the Shobijin.

The system and sound technology for this initiative utilize the expertise of Mocchihack Inc. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representatives: Takuya Seguchi / Yū Maeno), enabling users to experience immersive 3D sound directly through their web browser without downloading a dedicated app.

1. Project Overview

This is an immersive audio experience event that allows participants to dive into the anime's world through apps and station posters.

In conjunction with the event launch, a sample voice message introducing the project and participation methods—narrated by Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Rodan—will be temporarily available in the "Announcements" section of the app.

(2) Experience Original Voice Drama

At each of the five designated stations, participants can enjoy character voice lines based on exclusive original scenarios written specifically for this event. Experience the sensation of Chibi Godzilla and friends speaking right beside you, thanks to special voice recordings made by the renowned voice cast for this project.

(3) Immersive 3D Sound Technology

Using standard earphones, the sound technology delivers audio from front, back, left, right, above, and below, creating a realistic sense of characters standing right next to you.
