Tokyo News Service, publisher of "TV Guide" and "TV Guide Stage Stars," will release the "Shisen Ishikawa 1st Photobook (Tentative)" on Monday, August 31st. Pre-orders are available at bookstores and online retailers nationwide. Shisen Ishikawa, who gained attention for his role as Keigo Atobe in The Prince of Tennis Musical 4th Season and is set to appear in the drama "Shizuoka to Fukuoka! Dogengers Tourism" (as Hanamaruman/Tomohiro Kezuka) starting in July, is steadily expanding his career as an actor. Having turned 20 today, June 2nd, he is releasing his first-ever photobook. This work is a collection where Ishikawa, a movie lover, expresses his personal self and the foundations of who he is today as "scenes from a movie," shot as if creating a film about himself. In a shoot at a rented theater, he plays two roles: the "director" producing himself and the "actor" expressing it, fully unleashing his emotions before the camera. Other fashionable cuts, including royal styling based on black and colorful suits, highlight his handsome looks and accentuate his side as an "actor." Meanwhile, photos taken at a retro coffee shop and a public bath are packed with Ishikawa's natural, true-to-life charm. Additionally, shots themed around "dance," which is the foundation of his expression, and artistic situations depicting the "change from boy to adult" from his teens to his twenties, sublimate his inner imagination into portraits. Furthermore, the book includes a long interview covering his journey so far and his future prospects. What kind of end credits will Ishikawa draw in this work? Please look forward to his story.
