In the visual magazine 'TV Guide VOICE STARS,' which delves into the personal lives of male voice actors, voice actor Ryohei Kimura has been featured in the highly popular ongoing column 'Sake, Tears, and Ryohei' since Volume 1. The column follows Kimura, a passionate food and drink lover, as he visits various restaurants and bars in Tokyo. Now, as a special edition, a photo book titled 'Sake, Tears, and Ryohei with Wanko' featuring Kimura and his beloved dog will be published. Today, exactly one month before the release, the cover images for both the regular edition and the limited edition with a making-of DVD have been unveiled for the first time.

Previously, compilation books of the column were released every three years. This new book, released three years after the last one, is a commemorative project that shifts focus from the usual content to a major feature on Kimura’s beloved dog, a frequent topic in the column.

In a house studio setting that evokes everyday life with Kimura, the book captures numerous heartwarming moments—lying together on a bed, waiting eagerly for meals, or quietly watching Kimura work on his computer. Outdoors, it also shows the dog’s energetic side, such as walking and even sprinting so hard that it pulls Kimura along by the leash.

Beyond these realistic scenes, this edition also includes fashion shoots. Kimura appears in stylish sunglasses, wears avant-garde outfits for a high-fashion shoot, and is captured in a decadent aesthetic wearing white lace gloves and a white ribbon, alongside his dog.

Of course, just like in the regular column, they also visit pet-friendly beer bars. The book is filled with heartwarming shots of Kimura sipping beer while his dog curiously eyes the menu—scenes that feel like a glimpse into their private lives.

Additionally, a signing event will be held in November to commemorate the book’s release. Be sure to check it out.
