The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is holding year-round projection mapping screenings that transform the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building into a canvas for vibrant art through light and sound, aiming to create new tourist resources that illuminate Tokyo's nights.

We are pleased to announce that a new work titled "Bocchi the Rock! Seishun Complex," based on the internationally popular anime "Bocchi the Rock!," will premiere on June 20th (Sat). Please pay attention to this work, which depicts the worldview of the song "Seishun Complex" by the band "Kessoku Band" (appearing in the story) on the overwhelming scale of the government building.

Highlights: A projection mapping show that spreads a colorful and pop world across the Government Building, featuring the theme song "Seishun Complex." It captures the distinctive expressions, energy, and emotional sparkles of the protagonist Hitori Gotoh and her three band members through vivid visuals and dynamic production. The graphics and images change in sync with the song, expanding the world of the anime "Bocchi the Rock!" and coloring the Government Building alongside the music. About "Bocchi the Rock!": ©Aki Hamaji/Houbunsha, Aniplex "Bocchi the Rock!" is a popular 4-panel manga by Aki Hamaji, serialized in Houbunsha's "Manga Time Kirara MAX." The TV anime broadcast in the fall of 2022 sparked massive popularity, especially among young people. The story follows the extremely shy and introverted girl Hitori Gotoh, who joins the "Kessoku Band" and grows alongside three unique band members, garnering much empathy.

It achieved a record-breaking eight awards including Anime of the Year at the "ANIME TRENDING AWARDS (2022)" and took 1st place in the Work Category (TV broadcast & streaming works) at the "Newtype Anime Awards 2022-2023," gaining immense support both domestically and internationally.
