Tonichi Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Mitsuaki Nishikawa, hereinafter TONICHI), one of the world's largest newspaper printing companies, will make its first appearance at the community-based market "EnjoyLocalMarket" to be held on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Kanagawa Prefectural Shiki-no-Mori Park (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture). This event aims to create new connections, with a theme of "A Market Where People Gather and Connect," bringing together local producers, artisans, and food trucks.
At the TONICHI booth, we will introduce "Tsutsumu," design newspaper wrapping paper created by one of the world's largest newspaper printing factories. "Tsutsumu" is an upcycled product made from unused newspaper that we own. It contains six sheets of pop and cute design newspaper (360 yen including tax), allowing you to fully enjoy crafting and wrapping with your favorite patterns. We will also sell "Giant Newspaper Coloring Books" for children (five types: shark, mermaid, fairy tale, vehicles, dinosaurs). These popular coloring books offer a dynamic scale for enjoyment. Furthermore, this time, we will hold a workshop that families can enjoy. Why not challenge yourselves to make cute and practical newspaper bags, enjoying the unique texture and size of newspaper? It's a great crafting experience for children, and content that parents and children can enjoy together, so please come and participate.
