Teacher Shares Real Classroom Examples of Generative AI Use. 'Classroom Innovation in the AI Era: Adobe Express Practical Workshop' to be Held in Toranomon, Tokyo on August 25, 2026

This event will focus on 'designing lessons applicable to inquiry-based learning and information technology classes.' Adobe Inc. will present on the use of generative AI centered on Adobe Firefly, including safety and copyright considerations. Additionally, Mr. Noriyuki Koike, Information Technology Teacher at Wakō Gakuen Wakō Junior and Senior High School and an Adobe Creative Educator Innovator, will share practical classroom examples and insights from his experience using Adobe Express in teaching.

With the widespread adoption of generative AI, educational institutions are increasingly expected to design lessons that not only use AI but also cultivate students’ critical thinking, expressive abilities, and creative problem-solving skills through its application. At the same time, careful attention must be paid to issues such as copyright and the reliability of generated content.

At this event, Mr. Noriyuki Koike from Wakō Gakuen Wakō Junior and Senior High School, an Adobe Certified Educator and Adobe Creative Educator Innovator, will speak about practical applications in his 'Information I' class. He will present the inquiry-based learning process in which students select their own themes and deepen their thinking, along with the resulting changes observed in students.

Adobe Inc. will also introduce foundational knowledge about generative AI, focusing on Adobe Firefly—a generative AI trained primarily on commercially safe, rights-cleared content—and explain safe usage practices.

A hands-on workshop using Adobe Express, a tool that enables easy creation of presentations and posters, will also be conducted. Participants will experience the entire learning cycle—from setting tasks to creating deliverables and presenting them.

This seminar offers valuable insights into safely using generative AI as a tool that supports students’ ideas and expression, rather than merely providing answers. Participation is highly encouraged.
