The 'Drawing Bus': Carrying Children's Dreams

Meitetsu Bus Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture; President: Takahiro Kanamori) will collaborate with the Nishio City Regional Public Transportation Activation Council to hold a 'Drawing Bus' event, where children can enjoy painting on the body of a bus, to help them feel more familiar with public transportation in the area.

This event will be held as part of the 'RIDE MIX FESTA 2026: Gathering of Working Vehicles!' at Aichi Children's Center. Families can enjoy drawing on both sides of a route bus displayed at our booth.

The buses painted by participants will be operated as actual route buses in the Nishio City area at a later date.

Through this, our company's first attempt of its kind, we aim to provide children with not only the joy of riding buses but also memories of interacting with them. We hope this will foster an affinity for public transportation while contributing to regional revitalization and creating a positive local buzz.

The details are as follows:

1. Date and Time: May 30 (Sat), 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Final entry at 3:00 PM)

2. Location: 'Yuhi-ga-oka' Free Square, Aichi Children's Center

3. Event Content: Participants can freely draw on both sides of a Meitetsu route bus using markers. * The event operates in complete replacement sessions every 30 minutes starting from 10:30 AM. * Up to 20 children can participate per session (both sides of one bus combined). * In case of rain, the drawing activity will be canceled, and vehicle exhibition and children's uniform wearing experiences will be held instead.

4. Target: Elementary school students and younger (must be accompanied by one guardian).

5. Fee: Free.

6. Capacity: Approx. 200 people (first-come, first-served). * Time-designated tickets will be distributed at our booth starting from 10:00 AM on the day.
