Meitetsu to Host Locomotive Retirement Photo Event: 'Old & New Tractor Exhibition - Farewell EL303, Good Luck Maiya'

Nagoya Railroad will host an event titled 'Old & New Tractor Exhibition - Farewell EL303, Good Luck Maiya' at its Myogi inspection shed (11-1 Teramae, Maigi-cho, Okazaki, Aichi). The event commemorates the retirement of the EL303 locomotive and the introduction of the new tractor (nickname: 'Maiya').

Attendees can photograph the retiring EL303, the newly introduced tractor, and the active EL120-type electric locomotive within the restricted Myogi inspection shed. Depending on the plan, visitors can also sit in the cab of the EL303 or EL120.

This event was conceived by inspection shed staff to improve employee engagement.
