One Bright KOBE Co., Ltd. (Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, President & CEO: Jun Shibuya), in collaboration with Doshisha University Liaison Office (Director: Masaki Kato), Hyogo Economic Research Institute (Chairman: Juichi Takeichi), From Chef Co., Ltd. (President: Hajime Aoi), and Storks Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Jun Shibuya), conducted a survey on the economic impact of the professional basketball event "KOBE RISING -2025-" held last year at GLION ARENA KOBE (G Lion Arena Kobe). We are pleased to announce the analytical results of this research.
Survey Analysis Results Summary
Economic impact of approximately 190 million yen (direct impact: 120 million yen), with a production inducement coefficient of 1.56 times, indicating a high multiplier effect for a single-day event at a large-scale venue.
Spending per person for dining/purchasing behavior is highest among those in their 30s and 40s, with men spending more on dining.
As the number of visited locations increases, consumption within the arena tends to increase in stages.
By analyzing the economic value that arena events bring to the region and the consumption structure of attendees, using attendee surveys and event operational expenditure data, it was suggested that this event not only generated a high economic impact despite being a single-day event, but also that arena events attracting many visitors from within and outside the prefecture function as "economic engines" that generate local consumption.

About TOTTEI
"TOTTEI," the area name for Pier No. 2, centered around "GLION ARENA KOBE," Japan's first arena surrounded by the sea on 270 degrees, inherits the name of the "pier" that has supported Kobe's development for over 100 years. It is named with the aspiration to realize the history of active cultural exchange as a port in a new form of entertainment.
In this area, born on the 30th anniversary of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, we will work on "new attractions and town development for Kobe" that deliver moving experiences to visitors while weaving together "tradition and innovation" of Kobe Port's history and future development. It can be enjoyed daily, along with a restaurant zone for everyday use and the symbolic "TOTTEI PARK Green Hill" on the south side of the arena, offering panoramic views of Mt. Rokko and Kobe Port.
