[RIHGA Royal Hotel Kokura] Eat and Feel the Season! Japanese Shaved Ice with a Soft, Refreshing Melt

RIHGA Royal Hotel Kokura (Asano, Kokurakita-ku, Kitakyushu; General Manager: Shinichi Noguchi) has been serving visually beautiful and refreshingly light shaved ice at the sweets cafe inside the 1st-floor Japanese restaurant 'Sarakura' since June 1, 2026.

This summer's lineup features 'Goshiki Shaved Ice,' which allows guests to arrange two tea-based flavors and three summer fruit sauces, as well as a monthly 'Fruit Shaved Ice' made with seasonal fruit.

'Goshiki Shaved Ice' includes five types of sauces: hojicha, matcha, kiwi, yuzu, and mango. Guests can enjoy them topped with chewy shiratama (rice flour dumplings) and homemade sweet bean paste.

The first installment of 'Fruit Shaved Ice' features melon. Enjoy its juicy and rich sweetness.
