Ikuta Shrine (Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture) will begin issuing five types of limited Goshuin, including two types of paper-cut (Kirie) designs, from Monday, June 1, 2026.

Paper-Cut Goshuin: [The Sun Blooming in the Rainy Season] This June-only Goshuin features 'Benzaiten,' the only goddess among the Kobe Seven Lucky Gods enshrined at the Ichikishima subsidiary shrine. It depicts hydrangeas—often called 'the sun blooming in the rainy season'—around the Ikuta Pond in the shrine precincts. A unique 'half-cutting' technique, which etches the paper without cutting through, is used to provide an unparalleled three-dimensional expression. - Period: June 1 – June 30, 2026 - Fee: 1,000 yen

Paper-Cut Goshuin: [Medicine Rain] Inspired by the 'Rain of Medicine' that falls during the Dragon Boat Festival (Tango no Sekku) on the lunar calendar.
