・The number of companies issuing integrated reports is increasing year by year (1,134 listed companies in 2025), and efforts to improve machine readability, conscious of AI analysis, have also been observed. ・At the Nikkei Integrated Report Award 2025, the judging panel commented that there was an increase in reports with consistent structures down to the fine details, and overall disclosure quality had improved. ・With the phased application of statutory disclosure based on SSBJ standards, it is expected that the role of each disclosure medium will be re-organized, and integrated reports will be clearly positioned as 'the central medium for communicating corporate strategy'.
