Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. (President & Group CEO: Junichi Hanzawa, hereinafter "MUFG") announced today that it has begun construction of the new "MUFG Main Building."

MUFG has defined its purpose as "Empowering a brighter future." and its guiding principle for corporate activities is to be the driving force that helps all stakeholders move forward to the next step.

The "MUFG Main Building" aims to become the "Symbol of MUFG" by being open and connected to all stakeholders. Starting from our purpose, and under the project concept "Go Beyond with you" established by MUFG employees themselves, we will proceed with the construction plan aiming for completion in 2030. We will further deepen the integrated group operations of the holding company, bank, trust bank, and securities firm, and contribute to all stakeholders, including our customers, communities, and society.
