transcosmos to Participate as an Operational Support Partner in the 8th "Digitane AI & Programming Contest 2026"

transcosmos inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President and Global CEO: James Maurits, hereinafter referred to as transcosmos) will participate as an operational support partner in the "Digitane AI & Programming Contest 2026" (hereinafter referred to as "the Contest"), which will be held from Tuesday, July 7, 2026, by Educational Design Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Hiroshi Takahashi, hereinafter referred to as Educational Design). Through this initiative, we will support the development of next-generation human resources who will lead the digital society by providing opportunities for children to exercise their creativity from an industry perspective.

About the Contest

The Contest, first held in 2019 and entering its 8th year in 2026, is one of Japan's leading AI & programming work contests for elementary and junior high school students. In recent years, with the evolution of digital technology, there is a growing demand not only for skill acquisition but also for "creative power" and "communication power." The Contest provides children with opportunities to give shape to their own ideas and deliver them to society. transcosmos will cooperate in the operation of the Contest as a partner promoting the use of digital creation platforms, including Roblox.

Featured Initiatives: Collaboration with Roblox and Popular Creators

The following special initiatives are planned for the 2026 event:

- Judging support for the "Roblox Award":

Representatives from Roblox will participate as judges and directly evaluate entries in the Roblox category. Winners are scheduled to receive invitations to events hosted by Roblox and original merchandise.

- Collaboration with the popular YouTube channel "Kani Pan no Heya":

In addition to an encouraging message from the creator with over 600,000 subscribers (as of May 2026), a "Kani Pan no Heya Award" is planned.

Role of transcosmos in the Contest

transcosmos will play the following roles in the Contest:

- Operational support for judging cooperation and prize arrangements as a liaison with Roblox

- Planning and operational support for the entire Contest

- Planning and acceptance of the corporate sponsorship program

By supporting the culture of creation and communication among children from the perspective of the industry, we will create new touchpoints with the next generation. Furthermore, we will continue to expand participatory initiatives that connect learning and society, such as seminars, workshops, and game jams.
