Rakuten TV Expands 'Rakuten Pacific League Special' Content, Launches AI-Powered 'All Pitch Digest'

Rakuten TV, the video streaming service operated by Rakuten Group, Inc., begins offering today a new AI-powered viewing content called 'All Pitch Digest' on its flat-rate subscription service 'Rakuten Pacific League Special', which broadcasts official games hosted by Pacific League teams.

The newly launched 'All Pitch Digest' is a highlight video feature utilizing AI technology to cover all pitching scenes in a single game, allowing viewers to grasp the entirety of the match in a short amount of time. This content will be available for first-team official games hosted by Pacific League teams, interleague games hosted by Pacific League teams, and the Pacific League Climax Series. It aims to provide a new viewing experience for baseball fans who wish to review game details later, allowing them to enjoy games efficiently while saving time.

Furthermore, starting this season, 'Rakuten Pacific League Special' will begin broadcasting selected interleague games hosted by Central League teams during the 'Nippon Life Interleague Play 2026'. The streamed games will include all games hosted by the Tokyo Yakult Swallows (9 games) and the games where the Yokohama DeNA BayStars host the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles (3 games), in addition to all the interleague games hosted by Pacific League teams previously covered. As a result, viewers will be able to watch more games live and on-demand during the interleague period.

'Rakuten Pacific League Special' provides all official Pacific League games, the Pacific League Climax Series, selected pre-season games, and post-game hero interviews. From this season, the service has also started broadcasting official farm games and team support programs, continuously expanding its content (Note 1). Additionally, subscribers of Rakuten Mobile's 'Rakuten Saikyo U-NEXT', 'Rakuten Saikyo Plan', and 'Rakuten Saikyo Plan (Data Type)' can view the content for an additional fee of 0 yen (Note 2).

Currently, a 'Monthly Plan 20% Off Campaign' is running for a limited time until Sunday, June 14, 2026. By subscribing to the monthly plan during the campaign period, users can enjoy the service for 562 yen (including tax) instead of the usual 702 yen (including tax) for the first month (Note 3).

Rakuten TV will continue striving to improve customer satisfaction by enhancing user convenience and expanding content in the future.

(Note 1) For official farm games, matches hosted by the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, Hanshin Tigers, Yokohama DeNA BayStars, Yomiuri Giants, and Hiroshima Toyo Carp are not broadcast. (Note 2) Since Thursday, March 5, 2026, new applications for the 'Rakuten Saikyo Plan (Data Type)'—which only allows data communication—have been temporarily suspended.
